How do I submit an offer on a domain name that is listed on namedawn?

Simply fill the offer form and submit a reasonable offer. Please don't send us spam or unreasonable / unrealistic offers. Unreasonable / unrealistic offers are automatically ignored and spam is automatically reported.

I sent an offer on a domain name, how long will it take to receive a response?

We try our best to respond to offers within one business day but it can be delayed due to some unavoidable circumstances.
If you have not received a reply withing 2 business days, it is safe to assume that our system flagged your offer as unreasonable / unrealistic and it has been ignored.

What would happen after I submit an offer on a domain name?

Your offer may be accepted, countered or declined. Negotiations can take as little as one day or up to a few weeks.

What are my payment options? And are there any additional fees*?

We use various third party escrow services provider. You pay the escrow service provider and they release the funds to us only after you are in full control of the domain name.
We will work with the customer to find the best escrow services provider for each transaction.

How secure and reliable is the escrow provider?

The escrow services provider is a trusted third party that collects, holds and disburses funds according to buyer and seller instructions. We only work with licensed and government regulated escrow services providers.

Who pays the escrow fees?

The buyer is responsible for any transfer costs that may be required move the domain name to their registrar of choice in addition to all transaction fees.

Do you share stats for domain names?

No. namedawn does not share performance information about domain names. 

Buying a Domain at namedawn

How do I purchase a domain name?

Purchasing a domain name is safe and easy. Once an agreement is reached on the price, namedawn will facilitate payment and transfer of ownership. We typically use Escrow.com or Epik for third party escrow services. The buyer is responsible for any transfer costs that may be required move the domain name to their registrar of choice in addition to all transaction fees with the escrow services provider.

How much time it takes to complete the transfer of the domain name?

Under normal circumstances, the transfer completes within 2-5 business days (sometimes even just a few minutes). It will depend on the form of payment you choice to pay with and the day of the week the transaction started. We do our best to complete transfers as soon as possible.

What email address do you use for Escrow.com transactions?

We use the same email address that you used to send the initial offer on the domain name to configure the transaction. If you want to use another email address, please mention it in the offer description.

Can I pay in installments?

Installment payments may be available at the sole discretion of the namedawn agent. You can inquire about it on the offer page.

What are the ongoing costs associated with owning a domain name?

As the owner, you are responsible for paying annual renewal fees charged by your registrar (usually under $10). Failure to pay annual fees on time could result in the loss of your domain name. Pleas note that namedawn is not responsible for any kind of loss after the domain is transfer to your registrar.
